Surviving the First 3 Months With Twins
What no one tells you about the hardest season.
It’s Supposed to Be Hard
The first 3 months are pure survival. You’re not doing it wrong — it’s just a brutally intense stage.
Feeding Takes Over Everything
Breastfeeding, pumping, formula… There is no “easy” with two. Choose what protects your mental health.
Sleep Is Chao
Nights are broken.
One twin may sleep better than the other. This is normal — not a sign you’re failing.
Lower Every Expectation
This is not the season for:
-perfect meals
-a tidy home
-long outings
-routines that actually stick
Ask for Help (Seriously)
Twins are a two‑person job. Let people help with bottles, laundry, dishes, holding a baby. Small tasks save you.
Your Emotions Matter Too
Overwhelmed, touched out, overstimulated, guilty — all normal.
You’re carrying double the load.
